Installing NI CompactRIO Module Support 17.1Complete the following steps to install NI CompactRIO Module Support 17.1 for use with LabVIEW.
[*]Install LabVIEW 2017.
[*]Install the LabVIEW Real-Time Module.
[*]Install the LabVIEW FPGA Module.
[*]Install NI CompactRIO Device Drivers May 2017.
[*]Install NI CompactRIO Module Support 17.1.
Other Installation Notes
[*]This installation requires that MSI Engine version 3.1 is installed on your computer. If you do not have MSI Engine version 3.1 or later, the installer updates the engine automatically and may require you to restart your computer.
[*]If you are installing NI driver software on Microsoft Windows Vista, you must first uninstall all National Instruments software versions older than the February 2007 release before you proceed with this installation. Refer to the How Do I Remove Unsupported NI Software from Windows Vista to Install Officially Supported Versions? support document on ni.com for additional information and tools to assist you in upgrading NI driver software on Windows Vista.
[*]If you want to install from a network location, copy the entire contents of the installation disk to a single folder and run from that location.
