视觉论坛的各种NI资源，除了视觉相关的模块有使用外，大部分的都不会使用，仅提供资源不提供技术支持。资源的下载地址一般会同时提供NI官方和百度网盘的地址。某些工具包NI地址失效或没有NI地址，只能使用百度网盘地址；如果百度网盘地址失效过期，可联系论坛客服更新。NI的服务器在美国，有时候速度很慢或下载容易出错，这样会造成安装时各种错误而无法安装。建议在下载完成后，对下载资源做校验和(NI一般会提供MD5或SHA256等)验证，与官方或视觉论坛提供的校验和对比，一致就可以安装；如不一致，则需要重新下载。视觉论坛早期下载上传的资源，基本上都是正常下载的资源；2019后下载的资源，都与NI的正确校验和对比过，保证是正确的资源才上传到百度网盘。校验和工具下载地址：文件Hash计算器FHash，文件校验和验证下载文件正确性验证，MD5值计算、SHA1值计算、SHA256值计算、CRC32值计算http://visionbbs.com/thread-26524-1-1.html

Overview

The LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit enables you to connect to NI DataFinder in order to manage and search your data files regardless of format or location. The Desktop DataFinder ("My DataFinder"), installed with this toolkit, creates an index of the descriptive information stored with your test files. With the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit you can build applications to access the indexed information using either a simple keyword search as well as an advanced query to find trends and correlations in your test data. The LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit can also connect to NI DataFinder Server Edition, the DataFinder server for larger, centralized data management applications.

New Features of LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit

The LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit will provide the following new features:

• Management of NI DataFinder Server Edition 2010
• Trigger indexing of a specific file or directory
• 'Order-By' for query conditions

System Requirements and Supported Platforms

To create applications or shared libraries using the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit, you must be a properly licensed user and have the following software installed on the host computer:

• National Instruments LabVIEW 2010
• National Instruments LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit
  

To deploy and use applications or shared libraries using the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit, you must be a properly licensed user and have the following software installed on the host computer:

• National Instruments LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit Run-Time
  

The LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit can connect to and work with the following versions of DataFinder Server Edition:

• National Instruments DataFinder Server Edition 2.0 (or higher)
  

The LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit can change the configuration settings of the following versions of DataFinder when installed on the same computer:

• National Instruments DataFinder Server Edition 2.1 and DataFinder Server Edition 2010
• National Instruments Desktop DataFinder 2010
  

The LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit supports the following platforms:

• Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2 or later, excluding Windows XP x64
• Windows Vista 32 bit
• Windows Vista 64 bit (as 32 bit application)
• Windows 7 32 bit
• Windows 7 64 bit (as 32 bit application)
  

Installing and Activating LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit

You can install all of your LabVIEW products—including LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit—by using the LabVIEW 2010 Platform DVDs. You can find installation instructions for the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit along with activation instructions in the following locations:

• LabVIEW Release Notes, which are available in your LabVIEW software kit.
• LabVIEW 2010 Platform DVDs Readme, which is available on the top-level of LabVIEW Platform DVD 1.
  

To request additional LabVIEW 2010 Platform DVDs, refer to the National Instruments Web site.

Note: If you purchased this product with an NI Software Suite or NI Product Bundle, use the installation media that shipped with your purchase to install this product.

You can evaluate the products for free for 30 days. After the evaluation period for the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit expires, you are no longer able to perform the following actions:

• Run VIs from the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit.
• Run VIs that use VIs from the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit.
• Build VIs that use VIs from the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit into an executable or shared library.
• Access palettes installed by the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit .
  

To activate the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit license, use the serial number you received on the Certificate of Ownership. You can activate the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit license in any of the following ways:

• After you launch LabVIEW in evaluation mode, click the Activate Products button in the LabVIEW dialog box.
• Select Help»Activate LabVIEW Components while LabVIEW is running in evaluation mode or select Start»All Programs»National Instruments»NI License Manager to launch the NI License Manager. The license activation does not take effect until you restart LabVIEW.
  

Redistributing and Activating Executable Applications

Use Application Builder to create installers to distribute stand-alone applications and shared libraries built with the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit. Include the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit Run-Time installer. Activate the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit Run-Time on the host computer using the NI License Manager.

Accessing the Help

The LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit User Manual contains conceptual information about the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit and the DataFinder itself. Open this manual by selecting Start» Programs»National Instruments»LabVIEW 2010»LabVIEW Manuals and opening DataFinderTK.pdf or by navigating to the labview\manuals directory and opening LV_DataFinderTK.pdf.

The LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit Help contains reference information about DataFinder VIs and functions. Complete the following steps to access the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit Help.

• Launch LabVIEW.
• Select Help»Search the LabVIEW Help from the pull-down menu to launch the LabVIEW Help.
• Click the Contents tab.
• Navigate to Toolkits»DataFinder.
  

Finding Examples

LabVIEW examples for the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit are located in the labview\examples\DataFinder folder. You can modify an example VI to fit an application, or you can copy and paste from one or more examples into a VI that you create.

You also can find example VIs by using the NI Example Finder. Select Help»Find Examples to launch the NI Example Finder.

Use the Browse or Search page of the NI Example Finder to find an example VI. In the Browse page, the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit examples are located in the Toolkits and Modules»DataFinder folder.

Notes on DataFinder ToolkitFirewall

The firewall displays a warning while the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit  installs because the DataFinder, which you use for searching and navigating in files, then starts.
If you want to be able to use all the functions offered by the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit, National Instruments recommends that you select "Do not block" for all programs listed. This also applies when you want to evaluate the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit. Refer to ni.com/info under the info code expm69.

Installation

The LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit and DIAdem Version 10.0, and later versions, install and use a shared software component (Desktop DataFinder - My DataFinder) that is updated when you install the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit. When you uninstall the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit, the current version of the shared component remains. This is intentional and has been tested extensively.

The LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit, DIAdem Version 9.0, LabWindows/CVI Version 8.1, DataFinder Server Edition 1.0 and LabVIEW Version 7.1, and later versions, use a shared software component (USI) that is updated when you install the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit. When you uninstall the LabVIEW 2010 DataFinder Toolkit, the current version of the shared component remains. This is intentional and has been tested extensively.

New File Property

To speed up the search query that searches for a file path, the Folder property has been designed. As a result, an existing custom property Folder can no longer be used for search queries on the file level.
