视觉论坛的各种NI资源，除了视觉相关的模块有使用外，大部分的都不会使用，仅提供资源不提供技术支持。资源的下载地址一般会同时提供NI官方和百度网盘的地址。某些工具包NI地址失效或没有NI地址，只能使用百度网盘地址；如果百度网盘地址失效过期，可联系论坛客服更新。NI的服务器在美国，有时候速度很慢或下载容易出错，这样会造成安装时各种错误而无法安装。建议在下载完成后，对下载资源做校验和(NI一般会提供MD5或SHA256等)验证，与官方或视觉论坛提供的校验和对比，一致就可以安装；如不一致，则需要重新下载。视觉论坛早期下载上传的资源，基本上都是正常下载的资源；2019后下载的资源，都与NI的正确校验和对比过，保证是正确的资源才上传到百度网盘。校验和工具下载地址：文件Hash计算器FHash，文件校验和验证下载文件正确性验证，MD5值计算、SHA1值计算、SHA256值计算、CRC32值计算http://visionbbs.com/thread-26524-1-1.html

Overview

The LabVIEW NI SoftMotion Module allows you to use the LabVIEW project to configure and test your motion axis settings and tune your servo motors, program motion profiles with a function block API, create custom motion applications, and simulate your designs created in SolidWorks.

For more information about function block programming and using function blocks with the NI SoftMotion Module refer to Motion Profile Development using the Function Block API at zone.ni.com.

Note: Refer to the NI SoftMotion Selection Guide at zone.ni.com for a description of the different NI SoftMotion packages available.

System Requirements

The LabVIEW 2009 NI SoftMotion Module supports Microsoft Windows Vista/XP/2000. The NI SoftMotion Module is compatible with the following National Instruments software.

• LabVIEW 2009
• LabVIEW Real-Time Module 2009
• LabVIEW FPGA Module 2009
• NI-Motion 8.0 or later
• NI-RIO 3.2.0 or later
• NI-Industrial Communications for EtherCAT® 1.1 or later
  

Installation Instructions

You can install all of your LabVIEW products—including the LabVIEW 2009 NI SoftMotion Module—using the LabVIEW 2009 Platform DVDs. You can find installation instructions for the LabVIEW 2009 NI SoftMotion Module along with activation instructions in the following locations:

• LabVIEW Release Notes, which are available in your LabVIEW software kit.
• LabVIEW 2009 Platform DVDs Readme, which is available on the top-level of LabVIEW Platform DVD 1.
  

To request additional LabVIEW 2009 Platform DVDs, refer to the National Instruments Web site at ni.com.

New Features

The following items are enhancements or additions to the LabVIEW NI SoftMotion Module relative to the NI SoftMotion Development Module for LabVIEW.

LabVIEW Palette Reorganization

The VIs previously on the NI SoftMotion palette are now included on the NI SoftMotion»Advanced»Trajectory palette.

NI Example Finder Reorganization

The examples previously provided with the NI SoftMotion Development Module for LabVIEW are now included in Toolkits and Modules»Motion Control»NI SoftMotion»Customizing NI SoftMotion»Advanced»Trajectory and Toolkits and Modules»Motion Control»NI SoftMotion»Customizing NI SoftMotion»Without NI Scan Engine.

Using NI SoftMotion Development Module VIs with NI SoftMotion

You can use your NI SoftMotion Development Module VIs with the new LabVIEW NI SoftMotion Module using one of the following options:

• If you do not use the NI Scan Engine, you can continue to use your NI SoftMotion Development Module VIs after recompiling. When you install NI-RIO and the LabVIEW NI SoftMotion Module on the RT target, do not include NI Scan Engine support.
  
  Note:  If you have developed applications using the NI SoftMotion Development Module 2.0 you may need to run the NI SoftMotion Dev Module Upgrade Utility from the Tools menu in LabVIEW to update your code. Refer to the NI SoftMotion Dev Module Upgrade Utility Readme for more information.
• If you want to use the NI Scan Engine with your NI SoftMotion Development Module VIs, you need to install the NI Scan Engine on the RT target and update your VIs. Refer to How do I upgrade my NI SoftMotion Development Module 2.x VIs to use with the LabVIEW NI SoftMotion Module? at ni.com\kb for instructions.
  

Arc Input Behavior Changes

The rotation direction of the arc roll, pitch, and yaw inputs has changed in NI SoftMotion relative to the NI SoftMotion Development Module so that a positive angle rotates counterclockwise when looking toward the origin.

Fixed Issue ID 111553: Incorrect Number of Points Returned

The NI SoftMotion Development Module trajectory generator was incorrectly dropping the last few points when returning spline points for moves. This calculation issue is resolved in NI SoftMotion.

General InformationLabVIEW Real-Time Users

To use the updates and features included in the LabVIEW 2009 NI SoftMotion Module, you must install the LabVIEW 2009 NI SoftMotion Module software on the LabVIEW Real-Time target system using Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX).

Using Torque Mode

When you use an NI SoftMotion axis in torque loop mode, you must set the NI Scan Engine scan period to 2 ms or faster or the axis will not function.

Accessing the Help

Refer to the LabVIEW Help, accessible by selecting Help»Search the LabVIEW Help from the pull-down menu in LabVIEW, for information about NI SoftMotion Module concepts, using NI SoftMotion function blocks, step-by-step instructions using the LabVIEW NI SoftMotion Module, and reference information about NI SoftMotion VIs and function blocks.

Finding Examples

LabVIEW examples for the NI SoftMotion Module are located in the labview\examples\motion\SoftMotion folder. You can modify an example VI to fit an application, or you can copy and paste from one or more examples into a VI that you create.
