    NI OPC Servers 2013 Win32/64Eng NI OPC服务器2013

    OPC Servers

    Overview
NI OPC Servers provides a single consistent interface to communicate with multiple devices, saving you from learning new communication protocols and spending time understanding new applications. The combination of NI OPC Servers and other NI products, such as LabVIEW, the LabVIEW Datalogging and Supervisory Control (DSC) Module, Lookout, Measurement Studio, and LabWindows™/CVI™, provides a single platform for delivering high-performance measurements and control to new and existing industrial systems.
You can use NI OPC Servers with the following software applications:
    • LabVIEW 2013 Full or Professional Development System
    • LabVIEW DSC Module 2013

Note  The DSC Module must be the same version as LabVIEW.
    • Lookout 6.6
By default, NI OPC Servers installs with the DSC Module for a two-hour evaluation period and with Lookout fully-licensed. NI OPC Servers connects through the OPC client in the DSC Module to enable you to develop a full-fledged Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), programmable automation controllers (PACs), and smart sensors.
    System Requirements
NI OPC Servers has both software and hardware minimum system requirements. This application supports the following operating systems:
    • Windows 8 (32-bit and 64-bit)
    • Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit)
    • Windows Vista (32-bit and 64-bit)
    • Windows XP Service Pack 3 or later
    • Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit)
    • Windows Server 2003 R2 (32-bit)
Note  NI OPC Servers does not support Windows NT/Me/2000/98/95 or the Windows Server non-R2 editions.
NI OPC Servers requires the following minimum hardware requirements:
    • 2.0 GHz processor
    • 1 GB installed RAM
    • 180 MB available disk space
    • Ethernet card
    • Super VGA (800x600) or higher resolution video card

    New Features and Changes
This section lists the new features in NI OPC Servers 2013 and changes from NI OPC Servers 2012.
    Server Administration
Moved the User Manager from a separate dialog that was launched from the Administration menu to a tab in the Settings dialog (which is located through the Administration menu by clicking Settings | User Manager).
Enhanced the User Manager by adding granularity to specify whether users can modify channels, devices, and tags. Added a built-in user profile called ¡°Data Client¡± to control whether clients can access Dynamic (Native) Tags.
    Server Runtime
Added a new OPC Diagnostic message to indicate that the client-supplied shutdown notification sink is being called. The new filter "ShutdownRequest" was added to the Filter dialog beneath "IConnectionPoint (Server)" to enable this event. It is displayed in the OPC Diagnostics View as "Calling registered shutdown sink". The detail shows the return value from the call as "Client returned =
    ."
Altered the shutdown sequence to ensure that the OPC Diagnostics generated during Runtime shutdown will be delivered to the Configuration before it disconnects.
Upgraded OPC Core Components to version 3.00.105.1. This version resolves conflicts between x64 and x86 versions of OpcEnum.
    Server Configuration
Removed the Diagnostics sub-menu from the View menu, and then moved items from the Diagnostics sub-menu to the View menu.
Added a device detail view to the server's right pane. When a channel is selected, the right pane will now display a list of devices that are assigned to that channel.
Provided the ability to enforce a scan rate floor or fixed scan rate when polling underlying data sources. This feature can override the rates requested by client applications.
    Server Event Log
Improved the Event Log's performance by increasing the number of records sent per packet.
Added new persistence settings to support extended data storage. These settings are configured from the Event Log tab in the Settings dialog.
    Client Interfaces
Added the ability to modify the advanced OPC UA Server properties MaxDataQueueSize, MaxNotificationsPerPublish, and MaxRetransmitionQueueSize.
    New Drivers and Changes
This section lists the new drivers in NI OPC Servers 2013 and changes from NI OPC Servers 2012.
NI OPC Servers 2013 supports the following new drivers:
    • Allen-Bradley ControlLogix Unsolicited Ethernet—This driver is licensed with the Allen-Bradley Driver. This driver is intended for customers that require the use of CIP Data Table Read and Write Messages from the Logix family of controllers and need to communicate with a driver in an OPC server.
    • MTConnect Client—This driver connects to agents using the MTConnect Standard over HTTP.
    • OPC XML-DA Client—This driver is used to connect to Third-Party OPC XML-DA Servers.
For a complete list of drivers that NI OPC Servers supports, visit ni.com/info and enter the info code opcdriverlist.
NI OPC Servers 2013 includes the following changes to drivers:
    • Provided the ability to enforce a scan rate floor or fixed scan rate when polling underlying data sources. This feature can override the rates requested by client applications.
    • Enhanced XML support to always encrypt passwords before persisting to file, while maintaining backward compatibility with previous un-encrypted passwords. In doing so, password encryption with OpenSSL was strengthened where practical. This applies to new projects created with V5.6 and beyond.
    Accessing the Help
Refer to the National Instruments Web site at ni.com/opc or the NI OPC Servers Help, available by selecting Start»All Programs»National Instruments»OPC Servers 2013»OPC Servers Help, for more information about NI OPC Servers. (Windows 8) Click NI Launcher and select OPC Servers 2013»OPC Servers Help in the window that appears.
Automating the Installation of NI Products
You can automate the installation of most NI products using command-line arguments to suppress some or all of the installer user interface and dialog boxes. However, starting with the August 2012 releases (products using NI Installers version 3.1 or later), you may need to perform additional steps before or during a silent installation of NI software.
If the NI product you are installing uses Microsoft .NET 4.0, the .NET installer may run before any NI software installs and may require a reboot before the installation of NI software begins. To avoid a .NET reboot, install .NET 4.0 separately before you install NI software.
For more information, refer to the following KnowledgeBase articles:
    • For more information on silent installations of individual NI products, refer to KB 4CJDP38M, Automating the Installation of a Single Installer.
