New Features

In-Sight ViDi 1.7.0 firmware introduces several new features including:

Playback support for PNG images on the film strip
Secure file transfer protocol (SFTP) support for the WriteData function.
Image resolution setting in the WriteImage function, which allows users to save Full-, Half-, and Quarter-resolution images
Access to In-Sight D900 files via Windows File Explorer, which allows users to transfer files to the camera through Windows file management native functionality (e.g., copy and paste files, create folders, etc).
Support for Windows Server 2016 and 2019.
Option to write overlay graphics on the image via the WriteImage() function to BMP and JPEG files. (PNG is currently not supported.)
Stringf(%H) function, which enables users to add the camera’s name in the spreadsheet.
“Restore” function for multicamera selection, which allows users to transfer files from one camera to multiple devices (e.g. jobs, start-up job settings, FFP settings, etc.).
EditPassword function that can be used for setting up passwords in functions like WriteImage() or WriteData(), protecting the FTP Server connection password.
